When i cut my rubber, the rubber is not really neat. Does it matter if i cut the rubber not neatly

Hi Chris,

The only reason it will be a problem is if the rubber is jagged and starts to chip on the edges.

It doesn't effect the playing performance of the rubber at all because you don't hit the ball up near the edge.

I use an Exacto precision knife and the results are outstanding - out of the 6 bats that I've done myself, all have turned out excellently, but a couple of them you could swear that they came like this from the factory - such is the quality of the cut.

You should be able to find one at your local hardware store or even supermarket for about $4 or so.

Cheerios,

Sam
