Hello, can you please teach me how to do a dash to the right with a forehand topspin? This stroke usually happen when an opponent hit the ball to your right corner and you have to make a quick dash to get there. I can only return it with a high slow topspin back at them. I just need to know the correct footwork and the correct stroke to return a faster topspin.

Hi Huy,

The movement for this is the crossover footwork.  First you need to prepare your backswing.  Then you bring your left leg across as you are hitting the ball, almost like you are running but with a high leg lift with the left leg.  As you are making the crossover movement you are also swinging through with your stroke.

It take a lot of coordination.  As a Premium member you will be able to see this in our Master Class on Moving Out Wide.  I hope this helps you to get this action right.  It will take some time to get the coordination of it but work on it and you will get there.
