Hello! This is a question about the DHS Hurricane National Version 39 degrees sponge if I purchase a real rubber it’s gonna be slow but how to I make it fast and spinny at the same time with a hard rubber?

Hi Chris,

The DHS Hurricane National Version with a 39-degree sponge is indeed known for its tackiness and exceptional spin, but it can feel a bit slower compared to other rubbers, especially if you are transitioning from a tensor or a more elastic European rubber. To make this rubber both fast and spinny, you can try a couple of strategies:

Blade Choice: Pairing your DHS Hurricane rubber with the right blade can significantly impact its performance. Opt for an offensive blade with good speed characteristics.

Proper Technique: Even with the above enhancements, your technique will ultimately dictate how fast and spinny you can make your shots. Ensure you're engaging your whole body in your strokes, especially your hip and torso rotation, to generate maximum power and spin.

Happy playing!

I would like to point out that I have read several times that DHS Hurricane rubbers are specifically made so that they are fast and powerful only and solely with perfect stroke technique.
