Serving
Hi PingSkills, I want to ask about the Sidespin rotation
So, what's the different when the ball rotate from Left-In front-Right-Back and from Left-Up-Right-Down and also from the Right side.
What i mean is what's the different by put sidespin to the ball from the side of the ball to left (just like the pendulum serve) and from the below of the ball (just like the Wobbly Shot)?
as i think different rotation = different effect, different movement, different response when contacted on the rubber
please for the answer :D
thank you very much :D
Hi Frendy,
It is just the amount of forward momentum on the sidespin. If you are doing a wobbly shot, it doesn't have as much forward momentum and more upward. The ball will travel forward slowly. If you brush the ball on the side like in the pendulum serve it will travel forward faster because you are hitting it more forward.
