Disastrous backhands

My backhand is pretty disastrous, almost every shot goes out, I was thinking whether I should change to short pimple on backhand. Then I saw your last podcast and you said you played with short pips Backhand for 1 year and it was terrible. Do you have any suggestions on what I should do?

Hi Jasper,
If your backhand is a problem I wouldn't recommend playing with short pimples to try to fix the problem. I would think abut improving your technique of the backhand first. The pimples will not fix the issue.

Several routines in this training session make you constantly switch between a backhand and a forehand. If you can improve your consistency on these combinations it will really help you in a real game since your opponent will often be changing where they hit the ball.
