Does Age matters in TT

Hi,
I am from India and i am 30, i am passionate about playing Table Tennis can i start practicing now and become a tournament player? If yes then what are the things i need to know ? I have always read that top players started early, is there any age restrictions for top tournaments ?

Hi Varshan,
The answer is yes you can become a tournament player. It is more difficult for an older starter to reach the highest level in the game but you can certainly improve and get to a high level.
There are not restrictions on age. In fact there are a lot of Veterans tournaments now which is an area you may want to get into as well.
The thing that you need to do then is find time to train.
