Hi,
I would like an opinion of Alois, Jeff and/or the pingskillers on which blade will be better with Yasaka Mark V rubber - Donic Appelgren Allplay or Donic Waldner Allplay.
P.S. would you suggest Donic Bluefire M2 to an amateur attacking player?
Regards,
Arnab
Hi Arnab,
I will hand this over to the PingSkillers...

hi Arnab. I personally use donic bluefire m2 and thoroughly recommend it. The control is quite good because i have an allround blade, so it should be okay for an amateur attacker

Hi guys,
I just wanted to get a suggestion on the blade. I am not that much advanced as to use a fast M2 rubber.
Thanks

Arnab, as I said, I use a Tibhar Allround Classic. This is great for Bluefire M2, as you get control from the blade and excellent speed and spin from the rubber

Between those two I would prefer DAA, which I happen to own. I now have on it Tibhar Nimbus soft/Donic Barracuda, but have previously used Sriver on this blade. Sriver speed glued was terrific on it, the best racket I had. I no longer speed glue, not needed at my level. My feeling is that DAA is a slow and very soft blade a bit similar to primorac off- but a touch slower. Due to this softtness is makes a "hollow" sound during a hit which I personally do not like, preferring higher pitch sounds. Control is outstanding. I have not used DWA quite as much, but I found it to be stiffer than DAA. In terms of speed, both are slow. DAA was apparently used by Mr Appelgren himself, while Waldner never used DWA as far as I know, so go for DAA. In fact, if you are not advanced to use M2 DAA/DWA will not matter much, either.

If you´re going to use mark 5 get a Butterfly Lejumu Medium fast.
