Strategy
Don't know how much doubles you and Jeff play, but what is the best strategy for positioning me and team mate at service and during match?
Hi Mark,
Jeff played at the Olympics in doubles so he was fantastic at that part of the game.
The key with positioning is to be fast enough out of your partner's way when they are hitting but close enough to be able to get back to a central position to hit the next shot. Some teams rotate around each other and others just move to the side. Find what works for you and your partner.
We also have a tutorial on this as part of our Premium membership in our Match Strategy section on Doubles Strategy.

When playing penhold players it is important to remember to first analyse your opponent as you would if they used any grip. What are their strengths and weaknesses? A common weakness of penhold players is their forehand block especially against a slow spinny topspin. Their backhand may be a weakness if they use the traditional style, or you may wish to explore the crossover point if they are using the reverse penhold backhand.
