Edge of the table?

If the ball hits the edge of the table, (on the side), does it count as a point?

Hi Kieran,
If the ball hits anywhere on the top of the table it is in. So if it hits the side of the table it is out.
Even if the ball hits the edge of the top of the table it is still a good shot.
