Your web site is really great. I live in a region of the U.S. that does not appreciate Table Tennis, so I have no one to ask questions.

My question is What rubber can I use to get the most spin out of my bat. Speed gluing is not an option for me because i do not change my rubbers everyday. I usually just use a rubber cement. Is there something better I can use? My bat is a Double Fish that i bought while in china and I am happy with it. The rubber that I use is a double happiness super 720 fx (orange sponge). I have trouble getting a nice loop on my strokes. Does softer sponges give you more spin. Thank you for your time.

Hi Colin,

The softer sponge will give you a bit more feel.  It may also give you more spin on the ball depending on your style of hitting the ball.

I would give it a try.  The Double Happiness rubber would be quite hard and would not give you much feel.

Some of the rubbers that we recommend are the Yasaka Pryde and Yasaka Mark V.

Thanks for your kind words about the site.
