facing left handers

hi pingskills,

i am a right handed. i have some trouble of facing left handers specially when they give me a forehand sidespin topspin and i have troubles in reading their placements of shots.

what should i do? thanks

Hi,

This is an awkward angle for the right hander to receive the left hander serve.

The main thing is to get a lot of experience in facing this serve.  Try to get a few left handers to practice against.  The more you face it the easier it will get.

Try to get close to the ball because it is curling away from you.  I often think about getting my nose close to the ball.
