I imagine most recreational players (me, at least :-) are apprehensive about what to expect on visiting a TT club for the first time. Apart from learning the official rules, any tips on what to expect or general etiquette to be aware of so as not to look like an idiot? :-) Thanks!

Sorry it has taken a while to respond.
Take a look at the Ask the Coach Show, From Garage To Club #270 which gives you a lot of ideas on this scary concept.
We really encourage all players to try to find a club if they can. This interaction is so beneficial to a player's development because they get to see other players bot better and weaker that they can learn from.
