Hey Alois and Jeff!

My Racket is gotten flat, I may be changing the rubber soon..But till then I want to play a flat game. I mean like, more of smashes and less of spin. And also finish the rally quicker. What kind of game plan should I have to play a flat game so that I get to hit the ball flat ? And Is there anything I can do to stop my opponent to give me spinny returns?

Thank You in Advance :)

Hi Harikrishan,

I think it is better to change your rubber soon so that you don’t change your style.

If you do want to play a flat ball you need to get your opponent to play the ball higher for you.   See if you can do some topspin serves or no spin serve variations to get them to hit the ball higher for you.
