Strokes

Hello All,

It is good to watch all the videos in Youtube about the techniques to play good shot (Forehand and Backhand) against chop , but my question is about when you bend and keep your bat bit down to start, against chop sometimes it is very difficult to judge to hit Vertical or Angle motion against backspin.Sometimes Opponent will play less backspin but if you would play vertical it will go out of the board or it will take more height , so how to judge the ball with less or more backspin.

Kindly suggest.

Thanks

Hi Dipankar,

This comes with a lot of training and experience.  Start with a simple spin on the ball.  Then you can start to change the spin and see whether you can adjust.  If you play with a lot of topspin and have a good height clearance over the net you will have a high margin for error as well.
