Any advice for me to correct my fh loop vs underspin?

My fh loop against underspin is weak and has very little spin and speed and quite often i will totally miss the ball outright and its is very frustrating for me and i have trouble lifting the ball over the net, please advice.i can't uderstand the theory despite ur video

Hi Yong,

When you are making the loop against backspin you need to brush the ball finely.  Initially this may lead to you missing the ball sometimes.  If this is happening a lot then think about pushing your bat more forward during your stroke so that you are getting the contact more consistently.

Practice it more and more.

Hi Yong,

This is very common problem with most of the players :), the best thing you need to do is : In practice session while topspin focus on start and finish positions this one is basics and once you comfortable with this put more concentration on contact of the ball with bat and brushing action. Keep in mind spin and speed depend on merit of ball you can apply speed and spin. more spin can generate by lifting ball and speed can generate by moving hand in straight line, also you need to think about direction so your opponent will face difficulties to reach to ball.

If you are having problem with more back spin on the ball then use advice as Alois always suggest to open blade angle more to lift ball makes easily topspin ball over the net. and last is keep on practice, practice nad practice.

 Thanks,

Rajesh
