Forehand or Backhand topspin

if the ball comes on backhand then should we hit backhand topspin or forehand top spin

Hi Sid,

This is a matter of preference.

Players with very strong forehand topspins and weak backhands may choose to move around and play that ball with their forehand.  However, if you can develop a backhand topspin this saves a lot of running around and gives you some time.

If you have a lot of time, most players will step around and play a forehand topspin.

It is all a matter of how stong both your sides are and how much time you have.
