Hi coach,

i wanted to know how to put a curve on the hook shot ;instead of it just spinning on contact, i also want it to curve in the air,

Hi Farhoud,

To get the ball to curve in the air you need more spin or a slower flight.  The ball willl curve more if it is travelling slower.  

If you have two ball with the same amount of spin.  One travelling at say 30 km/h and one travelling at 60 km/h, the ball travelling at 30 km/h will curve in the air more because it has less forward momentum and the spincan take effect to make the ball curve in the air.

The other thing is to learn to generate more spin.  To do this we go back to the basics of brushing the ball as fats as possible to get the ball to spin around faster.
