Forehand Topsin (Nadal Style)

Strokes

I find my most successful shots to be slower topspins with a high throw angle that drop sharply onto my opponent's court. I am able to perform this with my backhand by using my wrist and striking the top of the ball, but I am unable to replicate it with my forehand. Do you have any suggestions on how to perform a Nadal style forehand in table tennis?

Hi Will,

The main thing to make the topspin the same is to focus on the finish position of the stroke.  Get the finish right up near the forehead like we show you in the lesson on the Forehand Topspin Off Backspin.

If you look at Nadal he goes up over his head with the stroke which is why he generate more topspin than the other Tennis players.
