forehand topspin on the edge of your backhand

hi

how do i counter the forehand topspin which comes at the edge of the table on my backhand at an angle,when im standing in the middle..

Hi Vaibhav,

The improtant thing here is to move into position.  If the ball is coming really fast, just move your right foot out to the right to get your body behind the ball.  This is called "One Step Footwork".

If you have more time, then move both feet so thta you are balanced when you make the stroke and then you will be in a better position to move to the next ball.
