Serving
Hi pingskills,
How do I get good variation on my back spin and no spin serves? These serves are only effective with good variation especially the no spin or less back spin serve. Plus the sound of the ball is different so my opponent is going tell which serve is which. How can I prevent that?
Hi Eugene,
You can alter the angle of your racket to start with. You can also change the hitting point on your racket to change the spin subtly.
We have a section on this in our Serving Secrets section. This is a Premium area but you can access it by going to the My Info link at the top right of the site.

Yes but there's a different sound. The no spin serve has a higher pitch sound then the back spin. If my opponent caught the sound, they will know exactly which is which and attack me easily off the no spin. How can I hide the sound?

Hi Eugene,
Also take a look at this previous ask the coach video response on table tennis serve variations. I think it will help a lot.
