Hi Alois and Jeff, I have newly bought two new rubbers, black and red, both of which are Friendship 729 Super FX but I haven't replaced them and put them in my Donic Waldner 600 blade to remove its two 3 stars rubber (which have already worn out) I I've seen videos wherein they glue rubbers in blades using professional glue sponsored by for example, Donic or Stiga. The problem is, we don't have any of those here in our place. Some use rubber cement but I don't even know how to even make those. So frankly, I've ran out of a lot of options. My only choice is to use Elmer's glue, but I have heard that it might affect both the rubber and the blade. I've seen a couple of websites if I remember using water-based glue. So if I could ask you, what other glue should I use to glue my rubber in my blade, without using those professional ones? Please, I beg of you because we don't have any of these that much. Is my only option water-based glue? Or should I use washable glue? Thanks in advance!

Hi Cloud,

When you are dealing with equipment like this you should use the proper glue.  You can often order it through different websites otherwise you can ruin the rubber.

Well, Alois, sad to say that your answer won't probably help. I'll just have to figure it by my own, maybe using rubber cement or rugby.

Just be careful not to ruin the rubber.
