Hi alois,

Sometimes when im in a rally i move too back. and i than i always lose points
its really annoying i try to stay at the table but its a bit hard

Can you help me?

Hi Sam,

It is a matter of changing your outlook of what you are trying to do.  You also need to feel natural.   Practice staying up close to the table during the training. You could put a barrier behind you when you are playing.  This will give you physical feedback of what you are doing.

Although attacking is the most popular style at the top level in Table Tennis, it is important to be able to defend well. If you choose to play a defensive style then you should be practicing these strokes all the time. If you play an attacking stroke then you should still try and find some time for these strokes. If you can win one extra point by defending well when pressured, it could make the difference between winning and losing.
