Going from pendulum serve grip to shakehand

Hi Alois,

Do you have a video anywhere where you show how to switch from the grip required for a pendulum serve back to a normal shakehand grip?  I seem to have trouble figuring it out.

Hi Sergio,

In training it is important to practice the transit in your grip.  I do find a few players tend to forget about changing the grip back to the standard grip after the Pendulum serve.

You can even do this when you are not at the table and at home watching TV.  Just get your bat in your hand and practice switching between the two grips.  It is just a matter of putting the three fingers back around the handle.  This should only take a split second once you have practiced it.  Your family may think you are a little crazy, but that is OK...
