Could you please tell me what is meant by 'Legend', 'Master' and 'Winner' grips? I saw these mentioned in connection with Stiga All Round Evolution blade in an online shop. Are they similar to our 'anatomic' and 'concave'? And yes what does a 'flared' handle mean?

Hi Vijay,

They are slightly different shapes in the handle.  I haven't paid much attention to them.  The Legend and Master are both flared handles with slightly different thicknesses around the middle of the handle.  The Winner is an anatomic shaped handle.

Anyone with more information would be helpful here.

Thanks Alois. From what you say, the Winner grip won't suit me as I am more at home with concave grip which is what flared handle means, I suppose. In the pic they show of the Stiga Allround Evolution blade the handle appears to be extremely concave which tempts me to go for it provided I can produce the requisite money from somewhere! But believe me, I can resist everything except temptation!

Flared handles: for forehand players

Straight handles: backhand players

anatomic handles: combination players
