please, someone explain it to me!

Why the top European players are not able to beat Chinese Amateurs?

Some of them looking really in bad shape, Some quite old, and some having a quite lazy footwork or weird stroke techniques.

I feel like the only European capable to beat those guys would be the European players of the past who can also read the game more instead of relying on the own power, like Waldner, Samsonov or Grubba.

Ok Samsonov is still not the past, sorry

Is the rest of the world really so weak?

Hi Marcin,

I think it is more about the strength of the Chinese players.  They have so many high level players through their Provinces that the Europeans find it hard to compete.

Take a look at our previous PingPod #31 - Chinese Domination.

Your Opponent's Weak Spot

When playing a game, you need to think about where you place the ball. Every player is different and you should have an understanding about where their weak spots are. You should think about this for when you are attacking, blocking, serving and receiving. The weak spot may vary between these different parts of their game.
