Hi I'm Ali

What's the difference between hard and soft rubbers?

For example Sriver and Sriver FX.

Hi Ali,

The soft rubbers allow the ball to sink into the rubber a little more and is easier to generate some spin. The harder rubbers allow you to brush the ball because the sponge doesn't allow the rubber to wrap around the ball.  It is a different feeling for both and they require different strokes to generate the spin.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
