Hard bat using long pips rubber

Sir Alois how good is the long pimple rubber with 1mm sponge using a hard bat.. I mean is an old tt racket with a dead rubber on both sides and a solid wood paddle.. i want to modify it using a good inverted rubber and a long pimple rubber.

Hi Alex,

That would be OK to do.  The most important part of the performance of the bat is the rubber so you  should give it a try.  I have done this with a lot of old rackets with good results.
