Help on Rubber and Blade choice

Hi,

I have started playing TT after a gap of 7 years. Completely lost touch in terms of best rubber and blade out there. I need your help in making a choice.

My approach to game is - fast and top spin. Ideally I attempt to play a loop (or just a top spin return) on a ball that comes off the table and love to place chop around the table. Also I do not stand very close to the table.

I have chosen -

Blade : Appelgren Allplay of Donic

Rubber : Baracuda (thickness 'max') of Donic

Do you think above combination will work for me.

Thanks

Atul

Hi Atul,

Good to see you are back playing.

Yes that combination will be fine just now focus on getting your feel and touch back. Others may have information about the type of equipment.

Choosing a Table Tennis Bat

Make sure you buy a table tennis bat that is suitable for your level and allows you to develop your technique. For your first bat we recommend the PingSkills Rook, and when you upgrade to a custom bat we recommend the PingSkills Touch with Mark V or Rakza 7.
