Hi Alois, I know its illegal to hide the ball or the contact of the ball during the service, but if I am using two different types of rubber with two different effects of the ball, could I hide the rubber/bat behind my leg/back area right before the serve and as the toss is coming down i reveal my rubber, giving my opponent less time to read the spin?

Hi Bennett,

Yes that is legal now.  It is a good tactic if you are using different types of rubbers.

Could I also hide the blade under the table before serving?

I think that you can hide your bat wherever you want, but the contact point must be visible
