High Toss serving problem

Hi,coach. Recently, I watch a video about high toss serve. Then, I practice the serve.  But I always hit the ball at the side of bat or hit the side of table. This makes me lose point. I think the problem is timing. Are you have some advice to me. Thanks.

Hi Elvin,

Yes, practice your toss for a while even without the ball.  Get the feel of the ball falling at the different speed.  Then you can introduce the bat and see how it goes.

Hi sir Alois, I have a problome on this serve too that's the ball always high and make them easier to flick or topspin so, when i throw the ball and i swing my bat when the bat on what height ? Is it higher than the net or lower ?

Yes, wait till the ball is a bit lower before hitting it.  It will still be above net height but probably lower than where you are hitting it at the moment.

This is a common problem of the High Toss serve because players become anxious to hit the ball.
