Strokes
Hi Alois, everytime i wanted to do a forehand topspin i often hit the edge of my bat how can i prevent that?
Hi Clement,
Make sure you are watching the ball carefully but also open the angle of your racket slightly so more of the bat is facing the ball.
The other thing you can try is making sure that your stroke is more vertical this will again face more of the racket to the ball.
The forehand block is one way to counter a topspin stroke hit to your forehand side. Learn this stroke and you will be able to keep yourself in the rally even when your opponent get the first attack in.
