Hi Shubham,

To counter a sidespin topspin you need to allow for the sidespin by angling your bat sidewards.  If the ball wants to go off to the left you need to face your bat right, similar to counteracting a sidespin serve.

You then also need to allow for the topspin.  Often, becausethe ball has sidespin it will not have as much topspin.  It may feel like you need to even lift the ball a little to get it over the net.  I bet a lot of your mistakes end up in the net off this shot.

It is a difficult ball to face.  Keep your wrist and hand relaxed to soften the spin as well.

To generate more spin you need to have more of a brushing contact.  A useful way I find is to watch the amount of dip on the ball.  You are looking for the ball to dip quickly after it goes past the net.  The more dip you can get the better.
