How to brush the ball

I have been playing tt for last one year. I am still unable to brush the ball .I simply hit the ball instead of brushing. Kindly explain the technique of brushing the ball so as to impart spin .

Also give some good drills for improving brushing technique.

Hi Aman,

I would set up a disc of some sort.  You can use an old DVD or CD.  Put a pencil through the hole and then try to spin the disc around by using your bat.  THis is the same principle that you need to apply when trying the brush the ball.

It will take practice but once you get the feel for it, you will find it easy.
