Hi Ivan,

We both use the PingSkills Touch blade.

Jeff has Vega Pro on his bat and I have Rakza X at the moment.

@ Ivan

the Vega Pro Alois mentioned is from the same series as the Xiom Vega Elite, but the Elite u got is the softest version, whereas the Vega Pro got the hardest rubber. The strange clicking sound comes from such soft rubbers and not from the wood mostly. Same with Tibhar Genious Sound, its the softer Version of the normal(harder) Tibhar Genius, the name Genius "Sound" says it here already^^ I havent played the Sound, but i think i wouldnt like its softness and the Sound as well. I compared the Vega Pro with the Vega "Europe" which is in between Elite and Pro regarding the softness and i also didnt like the europe cause of its sound and softness. Harder rubbers play more direct than soft rubbers, but u might need a better technique (which u learn here) to create more spin and in the ends its a matter of personal preference.

If u say that u dont like the softness and sound try the Xiom Vega Pro instead of Elite and the Tibhar Genius, instead of the Genious Sound and see how it goes ;)

A great base for these harder rubbers are more controlled/softer ar blades like the Pingskill Touch, so that u can get a good loop and smooth contact via the more direct rubbers. I dont know about ur Stiga blade and the stiffness, if theres carbon in it for example, i wouldnt recommend it with hard rubbers at this stage.

Good Luck and have fun with your new bat :P
