How to do a fast serve

I've been looking at table tennis games played by timo boll, and many others, and i realise that all the professionals do this serve where they throw the ball high up and flick the bat. I've been trying to execute the serve, any ideas?

Hi Joey,
To make this serve fast, you need to hit through the ball a little flatter. Get it to bounce close to you on your side of the table and also low over the net.
