Hi Ravish,
There are a lot of components of fitness that are relevant for Table Tennis.
You need strength especially in the legs to be able to move fast and be stable to play your strokes. You need speed to help to generate quicker shots and to help to generate the power. You need power to be able to generate the strong strokes and to move dynamically to get to shots. You need agility to move quickly and change direction quickly as well as being able to spring in between strokes. You need endurance to be able to play a long tournament over a full day or several days.
As you can see there are so many components so it is important that you see someone that can help you properly.
The backhand topspin off backspin is often considered a harder shot than the forehand. In this week's training session we focus on utilising this shot to make a 3rd ball attack. If you can master this your opponents will find it difficult to stop you attacking and you will constantly have them under pressure.
