hello sir

I have been playing tt for 2 years but haven't improved much because I haven’t had proper guidance. While playing forehand topspin I can't get the length right or transfer my weight. How to improve action? I have improved during shadow play but not in practise.

Hi Raut,

It is good that you can do the movement without the ball.  The next step is to do the stroke off a very slow ball and one at a time.

Once you can do that then start to do it in a rally.

Progress the stroke as you get better with each step.  If you find yourself struggling, then move back one level until you feel confident again.

#34 - Chopping, a last defence

Unless you are a defender you won't be practicing chopping regularly. However the chop is a great way to stay in the point if you are out of position and is also a difficult variation for your opponent to deal with.
