How to keep backhand chops low

Dear sir, i'm a defensive player. what i can do well is to return opponent's smashes consecutively, but the problem is i cant keep them low enough so that he cannot attack again. Can you provide me any suggestion how can i keep my backhand chops low? thanx

Hi Imrul,

Get you stroke more vertical.  This will help to keep the ball lower.  Also look at our lesson on the Backhand Chop where we cover the technical aspect of this for you.

You should get a piece of string and attach it over the net during your training.  Take a look at our lesson on Keeping The Ball Low to see how to do this.  

Then just have your focus on this during your training.  You will be surprised how much it improves without worrying too much about the technical aspects of what you are doing.
