Dear Sir,

I have seen your videos on youtube It helped me a lot but please tell me how should I improve my accuracy in forehand and backhand topspin.  I am doing mistakes the ratio is 10:5 I want to make it 10:10. Please help.

Hi Neeraj,

I think the key is technique.  If you can get your technique correct then you will start to become more consistent and accurate.

Focus on the start and finish positions of the stroke that we show you in the Forehand Topspin Against Block tutorial.

Then it is a matter of practice... and more practice...

Forehand Counterhit

The forehand counterhit or forehand drive is the foundation for more attacking strokes such as the forehand topspin or forehand loop. There are 3 critical factors:

  1. Your feet position
  2. Your start position
  3. Your finish position

If you concentrate on these 3 factors then your stroke will become extremely consistent. Once you can reliably hit 100 balls in a row then you are ready for more attacking strokes. If you can hit 1,000 balls on in a row then you know you've truly mastered the stroke.
