Hello Alois and Jeff,

Great to see the huge variety of tips on offer on your site. I am keen to learn how to improve my serves game to gain that extra edge in the game. I have ordered and am waiting your Serving Secrets Revealed DVD, however, before I begin watching I have one specific question. I use the hand  shake grip and noticed that most spin serves require you to grip your bat without hold the handle, just the base of the head of the bat. How do you train yourself to get a good grip on the handle once you say do a pendulim serve and have someone smash or topspin back your serve to your side of the table?

Also I am keen on joining regular comps to improve my match with a veriety of styles.  I live in the Blacktown NSW area and would like anyone to help me find a local club and or regular comp.

Thanks

Hi Martin,

You will soon learn to get back to your normal grip after using the serving grip.   Just practice it often and it will become natural for you.

Joining a local competition is a great way of improving.
