Hi Pingskills! Recently I've play with a guy. We had a match. I've serve a strong backspin ball and when he pushed the ball it goes into the net. When he actually tried to imitate my serve, he doesn't know how my bat contact with the ball and he served a float ball. It's quite high so I smashed the serve. I get 3 wins and he got 1 win. I've won the match, but after that he wanted to play some more match with me, he still served the float, high ball and I started to smashed the ball but it flies out. Probably my stamina won't let me to do too much smashes. How can I increase my stamina when playing table tennis?

Hi Xariuz,

I don't think it is stamina probably more just concentration.  The more you practice the better your concentration will become over longer periods.

Also in this situation if the smash is starting to miss, slow it down for a few shots till you get the feel of it again.  Even add a bit of topspin to the ball to get more margin of error.
