I feel as if I'm running around in circles.. I've been training everyday for 4.5 hrs.. but I feel as if I haven't made any progress.. my rating has in fact gone down significantly.. is there any way that I can learn to benefit from my practice?

Hi Michael,

Perhaps you can now start to focus a little more on your match strategies with you training.  At first it is important to develop your strokes and techniques.  As you start to play more matches and are looking for results, then you can start to think more about your serve and third ball drills.

Take a look at our free download of Training Drills and go to the section on Match drills for some ideas of things you can work on.

#9 - Forehand Attacking Technique

In this session we introduce some random drills. A random drill is where you don't always know where the ball is going. Random drills are really important for your development as they are more game like. You need to be able to play your strokes well even when you don't know where the ball is going. We also continue to work on your new serve. This week we introduce a target into your service practice to help you gain even more control on your serve.
