Is it better to go straight back after serving. Some times I am in the way of my partner.

Hi Joseph,

In doubles you can either move straight back or to the side.  This depends on your partner and also where the ball is on the table.

Try both methods with your partner and see which one feels more comfortable.

I would recommend moving straight back so that you can reach both sides of the table quickly.
