Given the Covid 19 virus outbreak here in the UK and I'm self isolating, can you please recommend some drills for indoors. I don't have a TT table and would appreciate some tips.

Thanks

Hi Robert,

We always say that every table is a table tennis table.  You can do some bat ball skills for developing control but always think about using tables in the home to hit.  You can push one up against the wall and hit the ball against the wall or practice your serve as well.

We made a tutorial a while ago that might help. Practicing Alone.

All the best with your isolation.  I am also in isolation after returning from Europe!

A key tactic in Table Tennis is to serve short, get a long return and then attack the third ball with a topspin stroke. It's important in matches to make sure you can make that third ball consistently on the table so you can maintain the pressure on your opponent. This week we give you a number of exercises to work on your consistency.
