Hello sir,

With the introduction of the plastic ball, what difference would it make while playing against a phantom? Should the waiting time be more or less as compared to the old ball?

Hi Uditi,

It may be a little slower to come through after bouncing but it is very marginal.

It is something that you will get used to in a very short amount of time.

Alois,

Do you think that it is OK to use celluloid ones for robot and multi-ball and plastic ones for match play and regular practice?

Hi Ilia,

I think once the plastic balls become more affordable then it is best to use plastic for both.  Thill then, I think it is OK to use Celluloid for the robot and Plastic for single ball practice and matches.

Yeah, now at least we have good *** plastic balls, but they are expensive. Really looking forward to see good plastic practice balls...

Xushaofa balls are pretty good.

Yes they used the Xushaofa seamless at the tournament I just went to and they seemed to play well.

I tried Joola,Xushaofa and Donic
We kicked them all from the hall.
No spin, strange bounces,no one of them was perfectly round,zig-zag serve was possible....felt very heavy for attack but very light to defend....
I do not know what about my teammates, but for me-I am about 80% sure that I can tell which ball is plastic by touch.

Everyone can tell which ball is plastic by touch as plastic balls seems heavy while playing than celluloid balls.

For Ball If you used them all In that case you should try Stag 3* Peter Karlsson ball.

But I personally use Xushaofa and they are the best.

I think Butterfly G40+ are also good but I haven't tried them yet?

I bought some G 40+  Very nice balls!  They bounce quite fast.  I'd say the biggest difference is that the ball actually feels more "slick" than other balls.  I thought that would make it harder to get spin, but they still work quite well.
