Hi Bryan,
I haven't used the bat myself but it looks like you will be able to use for making a topspin stroke. It is a basic rubber that will suit a beginner.

If you are learning strokes then the bat should suit you.

how do i get a premium membership.
Hi Bryan,
When you are on the website you can sign by clicking on the 'My Info' link at the top left hand corner of the page. Then you can select Premium membership. You can chose the Monthly option or the Quarterly or Yearly options. The Monthly option allows you to download 10 lessons per month, the Quarterly allows 50 lessons per month and the Yearly option allows unlimited downloads per month. With all of them you can access all the Premium content on the site.
