Strategy
Hi Pingskills,
I am looking for some advice on how two left handers should play doubles together? We both have far stronger forehands, meaning we regularly leave one half of the table open. We have looked at where we move to after we play a shot, but we can't seem to work out what to do for the best!
Any ideas?
Hi Simon,
As a left hander I can tell you this is not easy. I have only done it once and did OK but had a strong left hander to play with.
We used a one forward one back strategy which worked reasonably well. The receiver would stand forward. If you get pushed out wide on the forehand then circle around to the back.
The other option is to dump each other and find a good right hander to play with!
