Hi Alois
I’m using long pimples one side and inverted other side when I serve I twiddle the paddle but I hide the paddle behind my back so they don’t see which side I’m serving with but the ball is always in view of the receiver is that legal and I want to thank you and Jeff for all the videos and information I get keep up the good work. Garo
Hi Garo,
That is legal. Your opponent doesn't have to see the bat throughout the serving action, only the ball. They will see which side you are hitting with when you contact the ball as the ball is in view of your opponent.
Glad you are enjoying the site.
In this video we explain what happens when someone hits the ball before it bounces in a rally. This is also known as hitting the ball on the full. The point stop immediately when this happens but who's point is it? This depends on where the ball was hit. Watch the video to find out more.
