Lighting assistance required

Hi, Alois, we will shortly have a new dedicated 4 table centre and would like your advice on position of lighting. At our current centre we have 3 lights positioned along the centre line of the table/ playing area, however it has been suggested for our new centre that the lighting is aligned along the sides of the table. The headroom will be about 4 meters and we looking to achieve 800 lux of illumination.

Hi Allen,
I am certainly no lightning expert but I would think it is better straight over the surface. This is certainly what most Table Tennis stadiums have.
Let's see if we have a lighting expert that can help you out.

yes the suggestion is okay, aligned it for better illumination
