Strategy
Hi alois,
I always lose to my dad nowdays because he always serve short or very long. When its short, its easy for the flick. But when its long, i often cant use the counterhit in time and i just lob it
Pls help me with this problem
Hi Mat,
Try being ready for the long serve and whenever it comes long make a topspin. If it comes short it is easier to move in and make a push or flick.
A chopper likes to get back from the table and get into a nice rhythm. If you keep the defender close to the table in the early part of the rally, it's hard for them to transition back into their chopping position. So keep the ball short on your serve and try and catch them unprepared. Watch the video to find out more great tactics to use against a defensive chopper.
